Lucy Redman Dog Training

These Terms and Conditions apply to all group training classes and 1-to-1 dog training sessions provided by Lucy Redman Dog Training (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking any of our services, you (“the client”) agree to abide by these terms.
1. Bookings & Payments
- All training sessions must be paid for in advance to secure your place.
- Payment confirms your booking. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Packages or class fees are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Group Classes
:
- Missed classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
- If you miss a class, resources or homework will be provided, but we cannot offer make-up sessions.
1-to-1 Sessions
:
- 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a full session charge.
- In the event of trainer illness or emergency, we will reschedule your session at no additional cost.
3. Behaviour & Safety
- All dogs must be kept on lead unless instructed otherwise by the trainer.
- Dogs must not be brought to class or sessions if they are unwell, have a contagious condition, or are recovering from surgery.
- Reactive or aggressive dogs may be referred for 1-to-1 behaviour work before joining group sessions.
4. Owner Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the conduct of your dog at all times.
- You must inform us of any known behavioural issues, health conditions, or concerns prior to attending any session.
- You agree to use only kind, force-free training methods as instructed.
5. Children & Family Attendance
- Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Adults remain responsible for children’s behaviour during all sessions.
6. Equipment
- We recommend using a flat collar, Y-front harness, and lead. No choke chains, prong collars, or e-collars are allowed.
- Bring high-value treats, a suitable toy, and poop bags to each session.
7. Health & Vaccinations
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated or have appropriate titre testing in place.
- Puppies attending class must have received their first vaccination and be in good health.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is appropriately protected against disease and parasites.
8. Liability
- While every effort is made to ensure safety, participation is at your own risk.
- Lucy Redman Dog Training accepts no responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to persons, dogs, or property during training sessions.
- You are advised to have adequate pet insurance in place, especially for 1-to-1 work in public areas.
9. Media & Content
- We may take photos or videos during sessions for training records or promotional purposes. Please let us know in writing if you do not wish to be included.
- Training notes, handouts, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of Lucy Redman Dog Training and may not be shared or reproduced without permission.
10. Weather & Outdoor Sessions
- In the case of extreme weather, outdoor sessions may be postponed or moved to a covered location where possible.
- You will be contacted in advance if a session needs to be rescheduled.
11. Complaints
- We value your feedback. Please raise any concerns promptly so we can resolve them fairly and professionally.
