About Lucy Redman Dog Training

Hi! I'm Lucy and I'm a qualified dog trainer and member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT).

My interest in dog training began when I 'accidentally' acquired my 2 Labrador siblings as puppies, not understanding the challenges that taking on littermates can bring. I quickly learnt that I needed a LOT of support from a trainer in order to develop Rufus & Rosie into the (mostly) well behaved, confident and happy dogs they are now. I worked with an IMDT trainer for a couple of years and she was fantastic, and I enjoyed it so much I decided that I wanted to train myself and help others - and here we are!

My approach to dog training is very dog-centered with a huge focus on FUN for dog and owners, science-led and completely force-free.
